Fatal hit-and-run vehicle vs pedestrian collision.

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run vehicle vs pedestrian collision. On Tuesday (1/2) at approximately 7:41 PM, dispatch received a call of a male subject laying in the roadway at the corner of Chino Dr. and Adobe Rd. Deputies arrived on scene and observed the victim, identified as James Douglas McDaniel, 69 of Golden Valley, was deceased on scene. Detectives were called to the scene and the investigation indicated that McDaniel had been struck by an unknown vehicle.

Mohave Silent Witness has offered a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to the identification of the vehicle and driver involved in this incident. The involved vehicle should have significant front-end damage. We are asking that anyone who may have information about this incident to contact our Detective Division at 928-753-0753 ext. 4288.
