LAUGHLIN — Morning networking and informational events at the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce will continue each month through 2024, with the first four Coffee and Connections business breakfast topics and dates just announced.

“We are pleased to announce that we will continue our series of breakfast mixers into 2024,” said Carrie Isaac Larson, executive director of the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce.

The last Friday of each month, the public is invited to the free business breakfast events, although seating is limited so reservations are required.

The first event of 2024 is slated for Jan. 16 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber, 1585 S. Casino Drive. The topic is digital advertising and the presenter is Lauren Reeves of News West Publishing, parent company of The Laughlin Times, Mohave Valley Daily News and Needles Desert Star.

“The Laughlin Chamber of Commerce held an entire year of successful morning mixers,” Larson continued. “With a board-room full of members each time, the Chamber provided an array of breakfast items including coffee, bagels and spreads, fruit, pastries and juice for guests to enjoy during each presentation.”

Each event includes a question-and-answer session with the presenter and offers the opportunity for attendees to provide information about their businesses to the group and learn about the benefits of Chamber of Commerce membership.

“We already have speakers booked through April, so if you are interested in being a presenter, do not hesitate to reach out to schedule your date for 2024,” Larson said. “Attendance is especially encouraged for prospective and new members.”

The schedule for the following three months includes a presentation on hospice care from Hallie Furr, hospice care coordinator for Beacon of Hope Hospice on Friday, Feb. 23; Ninette Holguin and Chris Ybave, owners of Da Taco Joint, will discuss their new menu and location on Friday, March 29; and Teleprex’s Bill and Monica Jeffries’ topic is “Get your business in tune and save on your electric bill” on Friday, April 26.

Each event begins at 8:30 a.m. Nevada time and seating is limited to 25 people. Chamber membership is not required to attend the free networking breakfast meetings. For more information, to reserve a seat, or to sign up to be a presenter at a future event, call the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce at 702-298-2214, extension 0, or email info@laughlinchamber.com.
