At approximately 11:38 am this morning, BCFD were dispatched to the 900 block of Glen Dr. for a reported structure fire. The first arriving unit reported a fully engulfed garage attached to a double-wide mobile home. Battalion Chief T. Queen directed all other incoming units, which conducted a quick and aggressive fire attack, keeping the blaze contained in the garage area and stopping the fire from spreading to the main structure. Upon investigation, it was determined that the homeowner was burning weeds around his property.
We want to remind all citizens that burning weeds, yard trimmings, and trash is illegal within Bullhead City limits and is subject to citation.
