On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Bullhead City emergency crews were called to the Colorado River (area of the 1200 block of Riverfront Drive) for a report of a possible drowning.

Several bystanders helped pull a man from the water and life-saving attempts were administered. The 67-year-old man from Bullhead City was pronounced deceased at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
