BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – On Saturday, December 14th at approximately 10:30 p.m., Bullhead City emergency crews were called to a pedestrian verses vehicle accident in the area of Highway 95 and Talc Road.
An unidentified white male adult was struck by a vehicle and treated at the scene by Bullhead City Fire paramedics. He was then transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
A 29-year-old male driver of Bullhead City in a 2006 Ford Mustang, who was northbound on Highway 95, was unable to avoid hitting the pedestrian. The preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian was crossing the highway outside of a crosswalk.
The accident is still under investigation. Impairment and speed do not appear to be contributing factors at this time. The driver immediately returned to the scene of the collision and cooperated with investigators.
