BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – December 24, 2024 – At about 1621 hours, Bullhead City Police arrived at the Vista Loma Apartments at 2367 Merrill Avenue in reference to a noise complaint. When the first officer arrived to investigate the complaint, several rounds came from a nearby apartment, striking the officer’s patrol vehicle. The officer was not struck by the gunfire, and did not return fire. Minutes later, the suspect walked from his apartment and surrendered. Responding officers arrived and arrested Valentin Alejandro Aaron Pablo, 21, of Bullhead City, without incident. Pablo was charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, misconduct involving weapons, endangerment, and the unlawful discharge of a firearm. Pablo was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman.
