A group of dedicated volunteers from City Bible Church gathered at the Rotary Park playground this morning to help improve the play area for local children.
Their mission? To lay down a fresh layer of soft rubber surfacing, ensuring a safer and more comfortable environment for kids to enjoy.
Armed with shovels, rakes, and plenty of determination, the team worked together to spread the rubber material, which helps cushion falls and enhances the playground’s durability. The project, a community-driven effort, was met with gratitude from families who frequent the park.
“This is about giving back and making sure our local kids have a safe and fun place to play,” said one volunteer. “It’s great to see everyone coming together for something so positive.”
The City of Bullhead City and the Parks & Recreation Department expressed their appreciation for the group’s hard work, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining and improving public spaces.
As the sun set on the day’s efforts, the volunteers stepped back to admire their work, knowing they had made a meaningful impact. The newly improved playground is now ready for children to enjoy, thanks to the generosity and dedication of City Bible Church and its volunteers.
