On Sunday (2/9) at approximately 10:46 PM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a single vehicle collision in the area of mile post 37.2 on Pierce Ferry Rd. in Meadview.
The investigation revealed that a sedan was traveling southbound on Pierce Ferry Rd. when it left the southbound road edge. The driver over corrected and lost control of vehicle, causing it to roll several times. Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle were ejected.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Dennis Lee Wilson II (38 of Meadview) was pronounced dead at the scene. The adult female passenger was flown by helicopter to a Las Vegas hospital with life threatening injuries. Speed, alcohol, and the non-use of seatbelts are believed to be a factor in the collision.
