BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – February 20, 2025 – Bullhead City Police arrested Matthew Felix Swaim, 19, on several felony charges for selling THC vapes to local minors.
Last month, the Community Oriented Policing Section (COPS) received information that an unknown person was selling THC vapes to school children. During the five-week COPS investigation, with the assistance from Narcotic Detectives and School Resource Officers, Swaim was identified as the suspect and believed to be responsible for the many THC vapes that were recently seized at the local junior high and high schools.
On February 19 at about 6:45 p.m., police served a search warrant at Swaim’s residence in the 400 block of Santa Maria Road. Several items of evidence consistent with the sales and distribution of THC vapes were seized, as well as a handgun and counterfeit money.
Swaim was taken into custody on a traffic stop in the area of Oliver Dr and Patillo Dr. He was arrested for drug offenses involving minors, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of wire communication or electronic communication for drug transactions, forgery, and misconduct involving weapons. He was booked into Mohave County Jail in Kingman, Arizona.
