Authorities Searching for Dog After Bite Incident in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – Bullhead City Animal Enforcement officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.  

     On Friday, March 14 at about 4:30 p.m., Animal Enforcement was dispatched to an urgent care facility where an 81-year-old woman was being treated for a dog bite. The bite had occurred the previous night. The woman reported that she was working in her front yard in the 3300 block of McCormick Boulevard when a stray dog came up and bit her hand.

     The dog is described as a medium sized brown, mixed-breed type dog. No further information was available.   

     Animal Enforcement patrolled the area but have not located the dog for quarantine purposes. If anyone has any information, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at (928) 763-1999, reference report# 25-07481.
